但稍微看看他的随笔或评述,就会发现,这厮对福楼拜、海明威、杰克伦敦这些19世纪到20世纪初的大人物,了如指掌;尤其是后两位,他许多作品里会出现一些类似的手法。在若干篇宣言般的文章里,他都会赞许这两位。至于日本剑侠作家如柴田炼三郎等,古龙更是熟到可以随心所欲化用的地步。最后,他比我们绝大多数人想像中,都更熟悉金庸。原话是:
